There is a route down Kiyomizu-zaka slope from Kiyomizu-dera Temple to Kodai-dera Temple and Yasaka Shrine,
the Philosopher's Path that connects Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple with its beautiful seasonal gardens,
and the Gion area where the traditional streetscape is still preserved.
